This is an invitation for local churches, synagogues, temples, and other faith-based organizations to communicate a message of peace and unity to their congregations. This is the third year the New Bern Police Department has partnered with the faith-based community to host "Peace & Unity Weekend." Faith leaders are asked to communicate and share - in their own way - a message of peace and unity, as a show of solidarity with neighbors, friends, families, and our community. Parishioners are asked to wear royal blue dress shirts or t-shirts that weekend as an identifiable expression of peace and unity.
All faith-based leaders are asked to register their participation by completing this form.
