Suddenlink Concerns

In January 2021, the Board of Aldermen took additional action after receiving numerous complaints from residents about access to internet, quality of service, and billing issues with Suddenlink Communications/Altice.  The Board sent a letter to the NC Attorney General with a copy to the NC delegates that represent New Bern regarding the issues citizens are experiencing.  The Board also decided to create an email address for residents so that they could express their concerns and complaints:  suddenlinkconcerns@newbernnc.gov.   The emails received are catalogued and sent to the NC Department of Justice and the state attorney general's office.   All emails received are public record and regularly posted on this website for viewing:  emails as of 04/01/21 at 1345 hours.

Citizens are encouraged to also make their complaints known to the Attorney General's office by completing this General Consumer Complaint form on State Attorney General Josh Stein's website.
