The Utility Business Office, a division of the Finance Department, services the City’s 26,000 customer utility accounts for the City of New Bern including portions of Havelock, Town of Trent Woods, and some unincorporated areas of Craven and Jones counties.
The Utility Business Office provides Customer Care for electric, water, wastewater treatment, refuse, parking, and beer and wine privilege licenses.
In addition, educational and other resources to help customers to make informed decisions about their utility use are provided by this division.
